There are many murals of the Hunger Strike featured in this article! Its interesting to note that the Loyalists too have their Troubles to share and murals on Sandy Row are prominently displayed in this connection of conflict in Belfast Northern Ireland.
I did not grow up on the streets of Belfast so appreciate that from that vantage point I have been taken on a bus ride around the city looking out towards a peaceful solution and long lasting transquility in this 25 years of turbulent history! Some IRA now Sinn Fein members survived the Hunger Strike and they are prominently featured in this article in the Guardian Magazine!
