Beyond a shadow of a doubt
today's Guardian leaves us pondering on the author
Harold Pinter! He is now in his mid-seventies and is winner: of:
the Nobel for Literature which he received in 2005;
There is a wonderful
interview in G2 Section of The Guardian which demonstrates
that this
writer has still got amazing talent and still continues to use this gift that he possesses:
He has WON:
The Wilfred Owen Prize
The Franz Kafka Prize
The Nobel Prize for Literature and now
Europe Theatre Prize
What a wonderful achievement in this writer's
long life - long may he continue to write such amazing work! I attended about 10 years ago a talk given by the writer and critic
Michael Billington and its truly marvellous to read his interview today with Harold Pinter!
Of course Pinter still continues to make waves in areas of Human Rights! It surprised me to see that Pinter greatly admired Robin Cook - who was anti-war - long before Mr Robin Cook died! Mr Pinter himself is fast becoming a political activist and much of this interview is taken up with his views on political issues! I recommend this interview to anyone interested in play writing, scripts or poems!
Choosing a
school for your child is a stressful situation as you really want what you want which is often at odds with what the State requires you to want and what you can afford! The Guardian Education Section poses the question/

Right on to the end of the road, keep right on to the bend, look both ways and then cross safely to get to the other side! At the end of every tunnel there is a flash of light!
Like all drama lecturers I have an active interest in Yoga and keepfit: I sit on my mat as often as time and my work permit!: Guardian readers - obviously enjoy watching the antics of these experts : referred to here as OUR FLEXIBLE FRIENDS!
Cartoons seem to have come out of the doldrums and I note Steve Bell the cartoonist has his comic strip still in the Guardian: today the theme is: Italian! dare I say!
Happy reading in Tuesday's Guardian!
