Guardian and its Tuesday again ... headline strikes the reader as just a bit
strange ... rules to force
migrants to integrate
... are we going to have more
of that again... we are taking the hats off the old people putting everyone
to the test in English whether they are from Australia or not and banging
tests into them at the rate of knots ... extraordinary behaviour ... mind
you I would go further than that ... I would compulsorily ensure that
migrants are put in a Class Category from the day of birth to the
end of life ... ensuring they never step in or out of Britain''s view of
the migrants or the rest of the world ...
We are all expected to behave properly in spite of the street scares ...
the people who lie on the pavement who are teaching us /behaviour/
screaming blue murder and wild abuse at anyone who dares to
cross their path ... then you turn around and say, somebody
has to pass their English test and who is this person who is
going to take all this voluntary work on to make them pass
their tests in English... one thing for sure either native
speakeror migrant speaker the abusive language has got to stop ... its
horrid to listen to and I detect a need for repetition or the
winding up of teachers in these comments anyway.
Never a kind word ... never a "thank you" just a rotten letter
a really vulgar person sitting on the street begging stealing
making a meal out of everyone and then its back to the
teacher to deal with this ... correct it ... or whatever, and
just get on with whatever people choose to say in the heat of
the moment or some ghastly public address of:
Dear: Darling: Love: Sweetie: Sugar: Tootsie:
I am shocked at the level of familiarity from the native speaker
never mind the migrant ... and I think it should be stopped ...
I try my best by ensuing that by setting a good example
it will inevitably lead to people respecting that view ... not
so ... they continue to "talk down" to passengers on
buses ... people in restaurants .. and its the so called
educated person who is doing a low paid job and because
she doesnt like it ... i.e. she is really a writer or student
or belly dancer at night ..but her day job is serving coffee
at the local cafe! She feels mightily angry when anyone
asks her a question say, can I have my receipt please.
How many times do I as a citizen of Britain have to
request the receipt ... its never given voluntarily .. there is
always a huge fuss made about it ... these days, after
the horror of asking for receipts I write poems on the
back of them.
Old People are always in the news in Britain for a country that
doesnt like the elderly ... they are never out of the public eye ...
One such story is about the bodies of forrmer residents at care home in Somerset ... to be dug up re suspicious deaths ... Nellie Mary Pickford age: 89 will be dug up
and a postmortem examination is to be conducted and she will be reburied ...
foul play is suspected ...
Tuesday''s Guardian ... excellent writing ... keep on writing ... horror stories,I guess ...
