Tony Blair''s appointment as an advisor to JP Morgan no
doubt proves that a prominent name can do wonders. Allegedly advising on things Middle East, it will also do no harm to the company to have a former British Prime Minister on their team. Also, as an engineer of the war in Irag with such good ties to Saudi Arabia and others he will no doubt be an asset of grand proportions. This is not usual for British politicians to swerve around
political allegiance and business this way but the times we live in allow for it. Traditions are on the wane everywhere so why not continue the political success with a comfortable job. The
age of tradition is over. The age of money-makers and fine living has been in for quite a few decades well. So be it.
