According to the Associated Press-prosecutors say- ``they chose to pursue the
Death Penalty to dismantle a
gang whose top
members were already serving life terms and seems unfazed by that punishment(the death penalty).`` Several members of this white supracist
organization already await the Penalty Phase of a Death Penalty Trial. Observers of the Aryan Brotherhood question if dangling the Death Penalty over these individuals` heads will truly frieghten others away from this organization. With a maze of secretcy and rituals cobbled into its fabric-the Aryan Brotherhood purveys its brand crime and mayhem to achieve its ends. Perhaps, Loyola University Law School Professor Laurie Levenson said it best by stating- `. . . the truth is, this (gang) is like a hydra- you cut off a limb and it`s
going to grow back.` She continued- `These guys have been around a long time and they`re going to get new leaders.`
