Most
working men and women of today are interruped during work. And most of the reasons is e-mails, phone calls, or drop bys from co-workers. So because of all of the
interruptions we don't finish what we were working on. There are many whys to
avoid these interruptions. The first
step is to manage your time spent tending to them. For example write down what the interruption was and how long you spent tending to it. Then you figure out which
ones were important, and add up that time. If any of your interruptions are
important put time in your schedule for them. For example your kids, or spouse. The next step is to cut off computer, and only take phone calls if nesecery. That will help you from worrying about what ever the subjects were about. Also do not check e-mails first thing in the morning. Surveys say that is one main interruptions these days. More and more people relay on
technology to get them through the day. So to avoid some interruptions try to work with out technology. The third step is to sit where you can not see people passing by your office. Such as closeing the door or putting a plant of some kind on your desk that would cover your veiw. Also another way is to face your desk in the oppisite direction. If in a cubicale turn chair oppisite way of walk ways. These are all good ways to avoid interruptions so if you have a hard time working or finishing a task, follow these steps.But if can not work with out technology or comuticating with others.I recomend you just tend to the ones you have to and keep a positive atitude. Also remember, just don't avoid your faimly interruptions, and make time for yourself so you wont become stressed over work.
