Cheney warns against hasty Iraq pullout – The Vice President has voiced a legitimate concern for a
sudden
reduction of
forces within Iraq. The VP indicated it would be the first step towards a complete break down of any semblance of
government within the war torn country.
Moreover, we must note that a joint multi-National force manned primarily of Americans defeated the Iraqi’s, and now we are sending another 21 thousand men to help guile the ever-increasing unrest. The US must make a decision and develop a policy that address the extremist groups with extreme tactics as our only ally within the region, the Israeli government has adopted over time to deal with wholesale terrorism.
Therefore, if the US is to increase forces, then it is time to annex this territory or leave itand let it fall into anarchy, because time is up!
The President no longer has full bi-partisan support, and even worse the Democratic Party is digging in to hinder further buildup in the area, along with hold funding for the troops presently on the ground weakening the Presidents resolve.
It’s time to make a choice; and to the devil with what the rest of the world thinks! Fore they can either take a riffle or stand quietly out of the way.
