The recent news The recent news this week is about Jacob Zuma, The Deputy President. This week he has been found guilty for money laundering and racketeering, has been charged of
corruption and fraud . all these charges are relating to the arms deals and with his involvement with his former financial/
economic adviser Schabir Sheik. The news came shortly after he has been voted the next President for 2009 in Polokwane, University Campus. JZ as some people call him , the word is shortened for Jacob Zuma will appear in Petermaritzburg High Court next year in August 14 2008. The overly stretched attempt to charge him with corruption which are relating to the arms deals had further tainted his splotchy image . However, JZ (JACOB Zuma) the deeper and more he becomes entangled to the legal quagmire , the greater his popularity to his supporters and Thabo Mbeki
opponents. Now the
question is that if Jacob Zuma win his corruption case, what would be his economic policies as to compare to President That Mbeki. This is the question the businessman, investors and his opponents ask themselves but his acolytes believe that he Will be abide by the same gospel.
