Life is a struggle
Human life is a series of struggles. In order to succeed and survive in life, a man has
to fight against different forces and factors. Really speaking the life of man from birth to death is a struggle. When the child is born, it finds itself in a world where every moment is full of struggle. When he grows up into a man, the struggle becomes more acute. Right up to death he must keep fighting against different circumstances, otherwise he will be clean bowled out of life. If we study the history of men and nations we will find that struggle goes on in every form and field of life. The entire history of mankind and human civilization is a story of struggle against the forces of nature or physical environment. Man has to proceed from one stage of development to another. Whatever be the field of his activities, he has to struggle hard for success. His activity goes on increasing at every step. He proceeds from progress to progress; there is no halting ground for him. History tells that all the great men of the world had to struggle and struggle till success smiled upon them. Darwin has also said that in this world there is the survival of the fittest. Struggle is a God’s gift. We should not shun or fear it. Those persons who want to be at the top of the ladder must not be afraid of it. Struggle has a pleasure of its own. It always showers its blessings and gives its reward to those who welcome it. The rewards of life are in direct proportion to our efforts.
