Washington Times

Newspaper Review by: SM THOMPSON

The Washington Times has blogged a review from its hallowed halls of literary comments and this time the themes are Christian
Catholic Europe and Islam.  The writer is Martin Sieff who was nominated for the Pulitizer Prize in America.  The points are drawn together on the history of religious conflict in Europe between Christianity and Islam.  The Suleyman issue is well covered and is seen as Islam's greatest strength as the conflict for supremacy is focused on this Islamic Leader!
According to the writer and this review in the Washington Tmes the major players in Islam and Christian reference Catholic traditions ... are Suleyman The Magnificent Greatest Muslim of Ottoman Era and Roman Emperor Charles V ... with fleeting references to Martin Luther - Protestant who is quoted as saying  .... cursed be the Pope who has done more harm to Christianity than Mohamet?  Passionate words!  Hard work from Washington Times and Turkish digest ... great writing!
