Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon UltraBook
Lenovo has released the world's lightest 14-inches ultrabook, the Lenovo
ThinkPad X1 Carbon. It is just 18mm thick and made out from carbon fiber and
qeighing around 3 pounds.
Lenovo this week held a new conference, the launch has been long-awaited
ThinkPad X1 Carbon UltraBook. Brand new ThinkPad X1 Carbon UltraBook addition to
the heritage have previous ThinkPad classic elements, carbon fiber body, IVB
Core processor chip, long battery life, etc., have become the focus of
attention.
First, we consider this configuration of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. We see that
the machine cpu IVB core Intel Core i5-3427U, clocked at 1.8Gigahertz, Core
frequency up to 2.8GHz, 4GIGABYTE DOUBLE DATA RATE 3-1600 ram, 128GB SOLID STATE
DRIVE solid state hard drive, with there of HD 4000 Core Graphics. Model
configuration than the conference we have seen in the processor chip
slightly.
The cpu, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon in three different configurations:
Intel Core I7-3667U Intel Core I5-3427U, and Intel Core i5 - 3317U. From the
test results point of view, the machine performance of the processor chip is in
the middle level of the UltraBook products. Of course, it's basically all
business class product average.
Although HIGH-DEFINITION 4000 graphics performance than the discrete graphics
card does have this certain gap between the point of view, but the overall
performance to meet the high-definition video playback, edit hd images, videos
and other basic problem.
Obviously, in the consolidated performance, this Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon in
the the currently UltraBook the peak position, although the low-voltage
processor performance of the machine played a certain limit, but the SOLID STATE
DRIVE equipped machine to maintain a a higher level, it happens to be quite
satisfactory.
In terms of battery life, this is equipped with Intel Core i5-3427U processor
ThinkPad X1 Carbon to adjust the screen brightness to 70%, turn on the wireless
network, and Windows 7 OPERATING SYSTEM power management to adjust for balance,
the battery time is 5 hours and 56 minutes to meet one day the application is
not a problem. But we need to note is that the battery part of the machine using
a hidden design, ordinary users can not replace the battery to extend the use of
time.
Our test results from foreign media, the reason why this integrated
performance of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon in to commercial UltraBook products in the
current leading position, in which SOLID STATE DRIVE has played a key role. We
see that independent testing of the low-voltage cpu and Core Graphics, the
aircraft performance has been hovering in the middle, not prominent. As a
result, obviously, results in a later comprehensive tests and SSD to add have a
great relationship.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon UltraBook featuring a 1.7 GHz Core i5-3317U
processor, 4GIGABYTE of DOUBLE DATA RATE 3 RAM MEMORY, a 128 GB SOLID STATE
DRIVE, Intel’s modest HIGH-DEFINITION Graphics integrated graphics, and a
14-inch display with a 1600 by 900 pixel resolution.
Battery life, ThinkPad X1 Carbon battery not replaceable features, limiting
the use of the machine's time, but also to the vast number of business users, a
certain amount of inconvenience.
Price of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon UltraBook start at a minimum of $1400.
