PT Benara Flora Utama Indonesia as the company was founded in ornamental plant nurseries that can supply local and international markets. Benara was originally derived from the business landscape in Australia and in 1994 started with a serious business which later on developed in Indonesia in May 1995. The location was originally done in the form of hills and then cut and fill to form the land. Year 1995 has been developed in plants and palm bottle until the year 1997 prioritized to make the main building and then launderer growing until now. Currently, the Benara nursery employs 125 people with predominantly worked as a laborer.

Benara nursery also has a collection of rare plants like the perfect tree, nam-nam, and Podocarpus (Lohansung) that is imported from abroad, slow growing, and serves as a signpost and the interior. Topiary is also one of the best selling products launderer with a maintenance period every three months.
Benara has a special site preparation and mixing the ingredients for growing media such as rice husk, red soil, and sawdust. Spraying plants depending on the type and level of attack and the type of plant.
Benara based greenhouse for cultivating paranet shaded ornamental plants. The new program being developed is a potted color (colored pot) with the purpose to better attract consumers with a color other than that also can be used directly (no need to transfer). Benara also pursue courses tissue culture medium for indoor plants.
Plants can be in retail sales for housing can also be for the landscape. Marketing system (marketing) initially only door to door or mouth to mouth. But now provided magazines, brochures, websites and tradelist published every three months. The advantage of tradelist, promotion becomes easier but the prices listed may be observed to be the benchmark for other manufacturers to compete against Benara.
