Personal Experience Review   by:Wing_Man

I have visited several of its chain stores arround Jakarta and Tangerang. They are in Supermall Karawaci, Sumarecon Mall Serpong, Grand Indonesia and Gandaria City. I’ve almost made several orders to them. And in its mostly result are good altough its rather expensive than other store. They said the highly price because the quality and they owned their factory in producing frame itself. They educated me by saying purchasing their frame is somewhat how long term investment. I thought that the store keepers are merely educated.

Once I bought frame from them and quit shocked when something went wrong with the frame about few months after and surely wasn’t coming from my mistake. As refer to them the MDF or Cupboard seal the back cover of the frame was ragged by termite. My complain was answered by his senior staff on the store. He said that it seldom happen if me hanging the frame on the wet(painting) wall, under the air conditioner and waterway behind the wall. He said to me luckily that i brought there fast enough, if not my whole painting will gone eating by termite. He said that the back cover or the MDF is outsourcing.

For that repairment, i had to pay several thousands Rupiahs to replace and clean up the mess. I can understand his explanation but however I blamed for not communicating it on the first place.

One of my friend told me that he had ever bought several frames from them and figured it out that they are still unable to handle certain kind stuff fo put in frame. Caligraphy paper istheir most biggest problem. He wanted to frame his caligraphy paper work in custom size frame. The size itself was consist of 140 x 70 cm. The store recomended him to stick the caligraphy with glue onto piece of foamboard. He said that to avoid the caligraphy from being wrinkled. He insisted not to because he want to replace the picture with another frame in the future, He gave them another piece of painting. More thicker. The shopkeepers doubted that the problem can be solved without sticking it upper the foam board. My friend thought that impossible that such a store can’t do it andthis shopkeepers must be joking with me. The shopkeepers said that he dare not responsible for the result and little worried.

However he continued, he got several call admit both from factory and store that his painting can’t be done without sticking it onto the foambard. My friend made excuse that the storekeeper promise him at the first place. My friend kept disbelief until the painting were delivered to his house and being hanging on the wall. Several days after he saw that the wrinkled almost on the whole painting. He called the factory to fix the damaged. Several days after, the factory men came aboard to take down the paintng and brought back to factory for fixing. It happened several times without problem solve. The wrinkled was pop up in the surface. Due to that he didn’t pay the rest until get fixed.

Several times after, both store and factories kept calling him that nothing can be done on his painting. It’s look like both store and factory scared that my friend refused to pay the rest. My friend kept delaying to get some better answer and explanation. They begged the payment for more that 20 % discount for the painting to less than 4 million Rupiahs. My friend said he liked the frame but understand that they are still unprofessional in handling this kind of work. Altough he has ever frame several painting and photo with them in his satisfaction result.
