This drama began three weeks ago in a beautiful park here in southern California. Nothing odd about the day. Just a laid back moment in time. That is until the button pushing playfulness my cell phone was enjoying slapped me square in the nose and I am still bleeding! (my friend and I were "playing" with my cell phone)
My voicemail language was changed to Vietnamese that afternoon and attempts to get it back to English have proven to be too much for the employees at Metro PCS. I am not talking about one or two employees. We have been all over Ontario, CA and called customer service at 611 more times than I care to think about. Their response? It varies from, "I cannot help you, I do not speak Vietnamese" to "I do not know how to do that". I have been told countless times to go to my voicemail and follow the prompts to change back to English. How, pray tell, do I follow a prompt in a language I do not speak?
I am left longing for the "good ole days" when I could call a service provider and they could reset something or change something...any something to fix my issue.
I have done everything suggested to fix the problem. So far, I still cannot even check my voicemail because I cannot understand the prompts. Also, much to my surprize the prompts are in a different order depending on the language. Who thought that up? No standard format for voicemail. Wow, it just blows my mind.
Now they are telling me it is a problem with my phone. ~laughing~ OK, I'll bite. How the lack of information needed to change a simple thing like the language attached to my voicemail turned into an issue with my phone is beyond my comprehension. I wonder?
I wish I could type that this has been resolved...I cannot...It is not...and the drama continues!
The links provided do not resolve the issue. I am adding them to display the lack of information or assistance I have been dealt at Metro PCS.
Blessings...Becky Jo
