Apple iPad 2 products crowned the best tablet PC 2012 or The Best Tablet PC 2012 on the Indonesia Cellular Award 2012.
"This award is given to mobile phone products and the best service during June 2011 to May 2012," said one of the awards jury in Indonesia Cellular Award 2012, FX Bambang Irawan, said here on Friday.
Selection of the award was attended by 32 principals phones which nominated 65 series mobile phones and 10 operators.
Besides iPad a number of brands that won the award among Smartfren Andro be the best buy phone and the best CDMA phone.
While Samsung Galaxy Note to be the best android phone, Motorola RAZR XT910 be the best design phone, the HTC Sensation XE be the best performance, and Nokia Lumia 800 became the best windows phone.
While XL Axiata be the best GSM operator, the best blackberry package, and the best customer growth, as well as Smartfren be the best CDMA operator.
"This year the committee set a new category of 'the best Windows phone' to accommodate market developments. Although the players in the operating system is still limited but fairly prominent development and market development is also significant," he said
He added that the brand or the company's ups and downs successfully portrayed in judging where the brand or the year before the dominant provider is replaced with another brand that has a new and innovative tips.
