HAVE YOU DROPPED YOUR PHONE IN WATER?
Sometimes you can drop your phone accidently in water so what do you do? These are some of the things you can do to save your phone. After removing your phone quickly remove the battery the phone without even struggling to switch it off. This action reduces the risk of short circuit that can render your phone useless. You then remove the simcard from the phone. Then shake off the excess water that is still remaining on the phone. After shaking off the excess water dry any water remaining with a towel. Use cotton swabs to soak up any water in crevices and exposed circuits.
It will also help if you disassemble your phone and let it each dry off separately. If it is a flip or sliding phone it will be better to leave it open for maximum evaporation. If you have dropped your phone in tea or soup or salty water you may need to rinse the parts of the phone with water. Use your judgment to ensure you clean up the dirty parts. The extra water will not do as much damage as minerals and salt. To completely dry off any water in the phone put rice on the phone for some days. Then blow the phone with a hair dryier at low setting for a few minutes. If some water remains on the phone continue the rice drying process. If can see any evidence of water remaining on the phone assemble it and see if it works. If luck is on your side your phone can work normally again.
