Samsung Galaxy S3 Step by step Review
The much awaited Galaxy S3 is released a week back and let to a review of it.The case material is same as the Galaxy S2, its a plastic case behind. The overall design of the phone is great.It is very slim and looks like initial versions of Iphone. It has got super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors 720 x 1280 pixels, 4.8 inches display.It has got 2 sensers on the top along with a front facing camera of 2 MP. The 2 sensers are a proximity senser and a light censor along with the samsung brand name.At the bottom there is a physical button that acts as a home button.
The left hand side of the phone has a volume control. It has kind of a silver strip all around the sides that gives it a wonerful look by sides.At the bottom, there is a micro USB. At the rop right it has got a power button and a lock screen button and on the top, it has got a 3.5 mm audio jack.
At the back of it, it has got a 8 MP camera, a led light and a speaker. The speaker is really load and clear. I really liked it.
The back cover is made up of plastic. The overall phone looks great. It has got a little weight which feels nice when you hold it and it does not slip off your hand.The phone is really slim and looks great.
Some of the great features are1. It detects if you are actually looking at the phone or not. If you are not looking at it, it fades off the screen turns off.2. It the voice recognization which is similar to siri on Iphone 4S.3. It has got motion sensors and gesture recognization feature.
It runs of Andriod 4.0 (Icecream Sandwitch).It supports upto 64GB of of Storage and 1 GB or RAM, thats impressive.
It has got simultaneous HD video and image recording, geo-tagging, touch focus.
It runs of Exynos 4213 Quad chipset, it has Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex A9 CPU.It has got Assisted GPS and GLONASSIt has got a TV-out, Image and video editor.
It has got 790 hrs of standby and 21 hrs of talktime for 2GIt has got 590 hrs of standy and 11 hrs of talktime for 3G
