Songyang Academy near Mount Songshan is characterized by its profound connotation of culture.Songyang was a private academy appearing in the early Song Dynasty with famous scholars giving lectures,whose final conclusion was reached in history as one of the four largest academies of classical learning.Chong fu palace was closely related to Songyang.With Cheng hao and Cheng yi starting their research on idealist philosophy in Songyang,Songyang had an important effect on promoting the system of idealist philosophy and its propagation,Cheng's theory was developing quickly and was being perfected after it spread southward.Zhuxi finished the whole system of Cheng zhu confucian theory with idealist philosophy by integrating Cheng's thoughts LiXue had been depreciated for a long time and its value of administering a society came to be known by people.In the late Song Dynasty it was determined as an orthodox idea and therefore evolved into a system of Cheng Zhu confucian thoughts,which changed and developed the old confucian learning since Han Dynasty,having a positive significance in history LiXue had been influencing the societies since Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties for more than 600 years as a ruling thought,which has been regarded as a part of traditional culture so that it still influenes the present society.
