From a perspective of narratology,this paper holds that:first,the narrative unit of
Hong Qi Pu that embodying as a violent
means to an end forms the text's function level,promotes the text's narrative current,supports the author's general intention;The narrative unit that embodying as an eco-nomic means to an end forms the indication level and broadens the text's general intention.Second,writer took the break of contract as a fulcrum,and formed the text's frame through the state that whether the economic relationship of the two parts are in balanced or not,the text conveyed the gener-al intention that realizing the economic occupation by fighting against or depending on power and influ-ence through the identity and difference of the
definition ? style result aim and level of the contractual behavior of both sides.Third,Just because of the successful completion of the general intention,the first and the second narrative units form an integrated narrative chain;Though there are some minor difference in the aim of the behavior,the definition,style,result and level are just the same as the above two units,and the third inherits the above content and conveys the narrative process of the paragraph that follows,all the three parts should be regarded as an integrated narrative chain.
