On the basis of different levels and aspects, the paper discusses the implication of a complicated process from literature
creation to its acceptance. From the aspect of creation, the paper analyzes the creation basis of "Song of Eternal Lament", describes and reveals activities of intrinsic mechanism and thinking manner when the author was writing with a conclusion that Bai Juyi's "Song of Eternal Lament", based on the legend of Emperor Tang Minghuang and the highest-ranking imperial
concubine Mrs Yang, was affected by light literature in Middle Tang Dynasty. It, in a position of the common people, used "individual case" to denote "common case", and revealed the social tragedy that young people falling into love were forbidden to give up in the feudal society while magnifying and bewailing the tragedy of Emperor Tang Minghuang and the highest-ranking imperial concubine Mrs Yang. So to some extend "Song of Eternal Lament" broke away from historical natural form and became a sentimental love aria.
