Objective To study the effect of Yangxin Tongmai Tablets(YTT) on insulin
receptor of Insulin Resistance Syndrome(IRS) of
rats model. Methods We fed the "high fat and high sugar and high salt meal" to replicate the IRS model, and divided them into four groups: Yangxin Tongmai Tablets group(YTTG), Metform Tablets group(MFTG), Pathology Model group(PLMG), Normal group (NG). After 30 days, the number of High

receptor(EIR - H) combination and Low affinity of erythrocyte insulin receptor (EIR- L) combination were compared to those in the beginning among 4 group rat models. Results After treatment, EIR- H and EIR- L of PLMG both showed significant lower than the NG and the 2 treatment groups(P<0. 01) ,4 groups were compared,2 indexes of EIR- H and EIR- L present a NG→YTTG→MFTG→PLMG gradually decreasing trend(P < 0. 01); 2 treatment groups were compared, EIR - H and EIR - L of YTTG showed significant higher than the MFTG(P < 0.01 or P< 0.05). Conclution When IRS,the density of insulin receptors and their affinity show significant decrease, the effect of YTT on the increase of EIR is better than MFT.
