The Third Route" is a proposition in political theory put forward by such left wing parties in Europe and America as the
Democratic Party of the United States and the Labour Party of the United Kingdom to solve the problems inside and outside their countries in the universal time. It exists in the balances between the government control and the market mechanism,between the economic development and the social justice, the national interest and the international cooperation,etc. This social trend of thought came into being in the contemporary age to meet the needs of the new development and changes of the capitalist countries after the cold war in society ,politics,economy,culture and so on. It was also a reaction to the universal unity in econo- my.The expansion of the
middle class laid the social foundation for the existence of "
the Third Route",and played and important part in spreading the middle and the left wing parties'influence and their coming to pow- er.At present ,"the Third Route"is pot yet a complete and exact theoretical system and needs examination in practice.
