published "Yumingtang's Comments on' the
Collection of Ci about Flowers'" printed by Zhu Mo in the year before
his death. But it is difficult to have the whole comments on the
collection by now. "The Collection of Ci about Flowers"
published by Commercial Press in 1935 collected Tang Xianzu's eleven remarks on the collection of ci .The eleven remarks are entirely different from Tang Xianzu's twenty remarks on the same collection of ci in "the Complete Works of Tang Xianzu"published by Beijing Ancient Books Press in 1999 and calibrated by Xu Shuofang. Therefore, the writer of the paper picked up Tang Xianzu's eleven remarks to make them known to the public .Tang Xianzu's remarks on "the Collection of Ci about Flowers" are gifted scholar's comments on books .They give much complement, textual research,query and differentiation to ci study.Tang Xianzu successfully learned language from "the Collection of Ci about Flowers", dialects, slangs and laid solid language foundations for writing "Linchuan Four Dreams". Tang Xianzu's attitude towards "the Collection of Ci about Flowers", the national cultural heritage, bequeathed an enlightenment for later generations.
