Deficiency in the 20th Century's Research on the Warring On Warring States' Writing

The exploration of the Warring States' writing originated in the Western Han Dynasty,and continual research on it is carried out in the following dynasties and achievements have been made.After entry into the 20th century,with the increase of materials unearthed and excavated,the research interest in the academic circles has risen to an unprecedented height,and abundant achievements have been gained.However,an overall examination of the 20th century research of the Warring States' philology reveals that a number of the problems remain(unsolved),such issues as the following: if the Warring States' writing should be delimited regionally and how to be delimited,the differences and similarities among the writings of different regions and of various carriers,special forms of writing,characteristics of the form and structure of the Warring States' writing.In the 21st century academic research has been much flourished,but we anticipate greater breakthrough in the research of the Warring States' philology.
