Shidaxu was deemed to be
written by Zixia all along, but after Tang Dynasty, many different idea appeared. In the 20th century,
with the emergerce of the school of doubting
ancient history, the idea that Shidaxu was
written by Zixia had been nearly negated thoroughly. Most of scholars thought Shidaxu was written by the Confucianist in Han Dynasty, and this viewpoint was also adopted by the current teaching material about history of literature criticism in colleges and universities. They thought the scholar of Maoshi pieced up Shidaxu with data gathered from the ancient books in pre-Qin period such as Zuozhuan, Guoyu, Yueji, Mengzi. But in fact, the writer of Shidaxu hadn't seen these books. There aren't any definite evidence which can negate “the theory that Shidaxu was written by Zixia” in the ancient books. But the text of Shidaxu has proved that Zixia, is the most possible auther, because the perception and experience to the unique mystery of poem only belong to Zixia, the posterity of the divination family.
