New problems arise in the new age, but the change of the times cannot cuts the inner relation between The Speech and the
specific contents of the times. The Speech is still the important resources of thoughts and the enlightenment of the theory learning. The principle of the relations between literature and art and people, and social life, and politics in The Speech require that today's literature and art creation should pay close attention to the serious ecological problems the Chinese people and all the human beings are faced with, and require that we treat literary and artistic problems with ecological ideology. The Speech claims that literary and artistic working should stick to the guide of Marxism, thus we must re-understand the Marxist ecological viewpoint of humanism, because this view is the most scientific and the most practical ecological viewpoint up to now. In order to master the specific law of literature and art, we must have the aid of ecological ideology to understand the nature of literature and art deeply, and some problems which close to this, such as the need of literature and art, and the function of literature and art.
