Thankyou Mr. Borlaug, for spending your life time in helping to fight hunger in this world.
In Africa and parts
of Asia there is a great need in fighting hunger.  I see myself as a fat american who at times waste food so easily.  When I turn on the tv and watch the CNN, FOX and other news channels it is so easy to see all the troubles in Africa and Asia were people are dying and children clinging to their mother with their glassy eyes almost lifeless and it makes you feel for them at that moment and then you click to another channel just to get away from this type of trouble that is not a part of your world that you see everyday.  But..then I am wrong because i live in a society that is so used to having plenty that we can waste food so easily.
We do need to step up more awareness of "Green Revolution" in fighting hunger and give more aide to these countries.  The average household person needs to understand what is Green Revolution and how does it fight hunger around the world and  what are the success stories.  We need to know what type of  wheat that can be easily be grown at a rapid pace and is suitable to African and Asian climate and land soil.  We need get more people interested in being active at fighting hunger and become knowledgable in understanding how Green Revolution works, what can we do and how can we help.
Right now we are learning the awareness of "Global Warming" and how we are contributing and understanding how we are destroying our planet "Earth".  What are the short and long term affects of the Earth''s enviromental impact and how could we slow down the effects to protect our life''s future and our generation. 
Knowing a bit about Green Revotution will help us to understand in the future of food shortage at a global scale.
Right now we need to begin fighting to live in an era of unpredictable times in protecting man-kinds future.
