This is a database driven website (contains 1600+ popular websites and approximatly 100 new sites are being added daily) focused on building a database of similar websites on the internet, like if you search Google.com it shall show you live.com, ask.com etc as similar websites.
This is a completely human edited database of similar websites and it is very accurate in comparison of other methods of searching similar websites like Google''s "Similar pages" and Alexa''s "Related links"
Potential of this idea
The idea is not new, but there had been very less work in this field so far but I have stated in the above paras that other tools that help to search similar websites are not very accurate and not very focused to this topic as well. With the power of users to add more to this resource it can potentially dominate this field of websites "finding similar websites". This site will facilitate the reseach scholars regarding searching in the similar websites for their matters besides the other internet users.
Limitations
Small size of current database that only consists of 1600+ websites and no option to search websites by keywords.
Additional Web Tools
Provides Google Toolbar button, iGoogle plugin and coming soon XML API for developers to access the website data.
