Ditheory 3 - Intensity control & Resultant control

Book Summary by: rayziz

Original Author: Rayziz
Intensity control theory
Problem:
We observe things happening all around us, some after our interfering with
nature and some before. But, what makes things happen? What moves the world? If nature consists only of entities, then what commands the way they behave or interact? Could it be an entity in itself or a thought structure of some other kind?
Theory:
The world moves because of influence. One thing influences the next and the next influences the next. This creates a chain of flow of events that are all commanded by the same thing, intensity. Entities can not freely interact with each other because each entity is independent of the other. However all entities have the capacity to produce some forms of intensity when exposed to certain circumstances which are intensities in themselves. And all entities have the capacity to receive some form of intensity. Intensity is therefore both qualitative and quantitative. Entities respond to intensities in a magnitude of different ways depending on their nature and quality.
An entity that causes another to produce a specific kind of intensity, if attached to it therefore has the capacity to control and therefore predict its behavior and this process is called intensity control theory. And an entity that could have the capacity in turn to control all of such entities at its own will and luxury without any direct influences from other external intensities can have the capacity to posses intensity control and is referred to as a pigment.
Application:
Keeping in mind that entities interact with each other, we must never assume any entity independent of the other, for the nature and state of one entity greatly predicts that of its counterpart. Using our capacities as intensity controllers we should be able to identify cases of bad intensity influences before hand and do everything we can to prevent them by applying our own intensities in the right direction, in the right quantities and of the right qualities in order to change the course of events.
The process of intensity control therefore consists of three stages. Identifying the bad intensity influence, applying our own intensity to influence the course of events then checking again to see whether the desired change has occurred, before starting the cycle all over again. This is the pigmental process of intensity control.
Resultant control theory
Problem:
The things that we do are often limited by some external force. Some external force that limits us from doing what we desire simply because we can or forces us to do what we do not necessarily desire to do. That force could be that of resultant control.Theory:
When a pigment anticipates a post attainment on a particular attainment line that is negatively emotionally attached, it often responds by withdrawing from a particular activity or participating in one so as to affect the pre attached entities and change the outcome or leave it just as it is. Resultant control can therefore be used to manipulate the pigment’s behavior in a highly desired manner by intentionally inserting polarized post attainments along an attainment line that is associated with the pigment that are programmed to behave in specific ways when the pigment behaves in a certain way or doesn’t.
