Romania is very proud of its educational system. Many Romanian University
representatives believe that Romanian
education
is one of the best in the world. But the reality does not seem to support it. At many Romanian universities there are extremely bad professors who teach the futere genaration giving them old, useless information. Once I came across a standardized English Grammar test meant to test University students in Romania. This test was made by so -called outstanding Romanian University professors. It is shocking that the test itself encompassed a great many mistakes. I asked one of the Romanian Universities
representatives to engage a native speaker to avoid getting into a similar situation. His answer was, that the native speaker should study English at their University for four years so as to be able to teach English. It is extremely sad because about 80 percent of English graduates cannot speak English fluently, and 60 percent of them speak English only at intermediate level after graduating. I do not want to degrade Romanian
Education. Unfortunately this is the sheer Truth. One can get persuaded about it easily.
