ACHIEVE A STEADY MIND AND HEALING THROUGH PRANAYAM

The ancient yogis in India knew about the connection between breath and mind. Try to observe your breath and you will notice that when you are angry, your breath becomes disturbed. The same thing happens when you try to hold your breath for a long period.

The mind is very mysterious and almost impossible to take hold of. Therefore, the yogis had figured out how to use the connection between mind and breath. By controlling our breath, we influence the mind.
Pranayam, which is otherwise known as Pranayama, is a series of slow breathing practices in yogic traditions which is being done for 30 minutes before doing a meditation. It clears the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual energies.
Several researchers have reported that it develops a steady mind, strong will-power and sound judgment. Pranayam techniques are also beneficial in treating stress-related disorders which include oxidative stress, relieving symptoms of asthma, cleansing toxins and causing some people to lose weight. It works well with the body for healing, extends life and enhances perception.
