TO MAKE IT
INTERESTING
Environmental Studies was introduced as a
subject in nearly every school in the year 2005.The syllabus of this subject covers those
topics which have been
taught to us earlier or that are being taught to us now. This makes it very dull and boring for us. We have been
imparted enough theoretical
knowledge about topics such as soil, pollution etc. and learning same thing again is of no use. This is
certainly a burden on both teachers and students. I suggest instead that we should be imparted practical knowledge and we should be taken on tours like visits to botanical gardens, museums etc. Our lessons should be taught to us in the relative environment.
This would generate scientific spirit in us and above all, the subject will certainly become interesting and informative.
