Perform Better by Avoiding Stress
To improve your skills, you must know how to deal with
your stress. To deal with your stress, you must know what is stress exactly and how does it influence your behavior and performance. I would be also telling you how to over come your stress to perform well at your work etc. Stress is defined, as mental exhaustion Stress may be either major or minor. Stress   is    Problem facing for sometime. They require adjustments. E.g. Death of some one every day life hassles e.g. Traffic
EU Stress is the ‘Motivation’. As if you feel pressure when you get workload but it is not negative up to a certain limit.
Following behavior is in the result of negative stress.
1-    FRUSTRATION: occurs when an individual wants to achieve goal and he faces obstacle in achieving that goal.
2-    CONFLICT: occurs when you are faced with two or more motivations or goals and you have to choose any one out of them.
  a.     AVOIDANCE – AVOIDANCE CONFLICT: Your two goals are undesirable but you have to choose one. For e.g. either you stay at home or to go for a low paid job. Both can be undesirable to you but sometimes you have to choose out of two un desirable options.
b.          APPROACH – AVOIDANCE CONFLICT: It is when you face two situations and one is favorable to you while other is un desirable to you.
c.           APPROACH-APPROACH CONFLICT: It is when you face two different goals. Both are attractive to you but you have to choose one. For e.g. you got two attractive jobs at the same time. You want to join both and definitely have to go for any one.
3-    LIFE CHANGE: are any noticeable alterations in an individual’s living circumstances which require readjustments. For e.g. getting married. Job switching, promotion etc. Life change can be positive or negative. Another example can be you shift to some other city or location, no doubt you find the place very good, but you feel problem as you are new here and even do not know your neighbors.
4-        PRESSURE: involves expectations on demand that an individual behave in a certain way or conform to your expectations. For e.g. ‘Time Limit’ in Quiz or exams. (ii) You are asked to present a presentation on a topic on which you need time to collect data.
a.            Aggression: Aggression is described as any behavior that is intended to hurt someone physically or verbally. For e.g. scolding or beating.
b.         Indulging one self: An individual will indulge (get involved) himself into unhealthy patterns of eating, smoking, spending money.
c.         DEFENSIVE COPING: is used to protect yourself from the discomfort of stress. For e.g. Denial=Refusing/deny the reality. Say you deny accepting any bad news right after you come to know about that news. That is actually fantasy. Fantasy is related to satisfying your desires by imaginary achievements.
d.        DISPLACEMENT: In ‘displacement’, you direct your anger towards an object who is weaker in position. For e.g. Anger of some one else, you took out on someone else who is weaker in position than you or one who works under you. 1-                           Impaired (decrease) task performance: is related to a decrease in your level of performance due to stress e.g. if you are given three assignments. Your level of pressure increase and it influences your performance. Say your efficiency is then distributed among three assignments. 2-                           Burn Out: is related to physical, mental and emotional exhaustion from long term involvement in emotionally demanding situations. Physical – Fatigue, weaknesses, low energy
Mental Exhaustion – Negative attitude. In MENTAL EXHAUSTION, You develop negative attitude towards your own self, job, and your life in general. In EMOTIONAL exhaustion, you feel hopeless, helpless, and trapped.
Please avoid Stress as it takes you towards disaster like frustration etc. It influences your performance. EUSTRESS up to some extent is good but do not put extra pressure on yourself. Avoid bringing you in tough pressure as it just spoils everything and is never creative and productive. If you control your mind, you will surely perform better. Stress can just spoil your life so please control it. I shall also be teaching the ways to improve you in order to perform better. I myself tried them and found very beneficial.
