The Irish football legend, Roy Keane starred as a central midfielder for Cobh Ramblers, Nottingham Forest, Manchester United and Celtic, as well as the Irish national team.

He is known as a born leader, excellent tackling and distribution abilities.

Keane was called by Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson the best player he had in his 20 years on the job (ahead of David Beckham).

Football commentator Alan Hansen went further, calling Keane the best player to have played in the Premier League since its inception in 1992.

Keane was the only Irishman named to the FIFA 100 list of the greatest footballers of all-time.
