With hate crimes increasing each year, we wonder why. Could it be incited by violence shown
on TV or hate-monger blogger words exploding in cyberspace?
If so, one thing is certain !! The attention-getting broadcast trend to dwell on the sinisiter and spectacular does not reflect the real life of most people on this earth.
There are far more good folks in this world than haters.
The good folks spend their lives trying to make an honest living, dealing with their problems, taking care of their families, helping others, studying and learning.
No one''s life is always stable. We all have our ups and downs. But most of us do not resort to hate and
violence to settle differences, get what we want, for revenge, or
excitement.
Yet, there it is - spread all over TV and the internet as though hate and violence is far more prevalent and desired than it really is.
This travesty is happening, while ignored are the excitement and beauty to be found in ordinary lives.
We can only hope that one day soon, TV producers and individual bloggers will find the skill to dramatize our truly exciting ordinary world.
