People in eastern countries were born into a communist system. Those were bad times for us. Now everything has changed not
wholly for the better.
Communism was not good because we could not complain, express our views freely. We did not have much money, but enough to live on it. We had flats automatically given by the state, mostly free of charge. Evrebody had a job.
Democracy extinguished all these things. Now we have plenty of food and all kinds of things, but the living standard is much more below than it used to be. There is a very essential instability at job market. Most people are underpaid. We are exposed to the demands of western punctuality which requires a lot of energy. We are under constant stress. I have lost many of my acqaintances who died of heart attack. They could not cope with the sudden change from communism into Democracy. We live in a very competitive world and those who are weak are doomed to lose all the time. I do not want the communism back but I condem this type of democracy on the whole.
