Prosperity Pointers
Succeeding against all odds—this is not something you inherit. It is something you create
out of your conscious efforts. A person may inherit riches but may remain poor in attitude. A person born poor may remain generous and kind in his heart and live like a rich person.
What is the true meaning of being rich? It is in giving and appreciating and being in possession of certain qualities which we refer here as virtues. Wealth should be a means to circulate happiness and gratitude. If you do not have this approach you can certainly cultivate the same. You can then enjoy true happiness.
The ultimate goal should be to be happy mentally and physically.
There are some factors which contribute to this:
Positive Thinking
When you look at the world positively: clear your mind from the cobwebs of fear, suspicion, hatred and ill will.
You then accept the world and the people around.
Your creative faculties become unfettered and it will lead you to affluence and prosperity.
You build relationships appreciating their worth, understanding their weakness and rarely do you judge them.
These relationships will help you succeed in your endeavors and enterprises
Awareness.Become aware of yourself, your goals, needs, environment and the people you mingle with. .
Awareness enables you to adjust, modify and correct so that you can become successful. Awareness is knowledge, it is strength, and it is the key to success in any field. It comes out of observation to detail and the willingness to change.
Discipline. This is one’s ability for moderation in everything-food, play, free-time and drinking. It implies control, adjusting to one’s environment and plans. It means streamlining mental and physical activities to the set goals. It means control of thoughts and impulses.
Determination. You need will to surmount difficulties and to achieve goals. It means perseverance- to go on trying until you succeed, irrespective of failures. Determination comes from the faith in one’s goals and sustained thoughts.
Courage to take risks. If you believe in your eventual success, you will take calculated risks and face the unknown if necessary. You will be thus free from anxiety, hesitation and the pressures of life. It implies self-confidence, imitative, and responsibility. If you develop faith in yourself you will have faith in others too.
Compassion. Make sacrifices for others. Whom you help will reciprocate and the universe will return your services hundredfold. Share others’ joys, triumphs, and sorrows. You can share with them your successes and failures too. Thus establish empathy which is essential for any success.
Intelligence. Cultivate the ability to learn from experience, and become alert to opportunities. Recognize people with exceptional qualities from whom you can learn.
Learning from mistakes and turning failures into successes is absolutely required in the upward climb.
Repetition of the same type of failures is detrimental to any success. Enjoy what you do. Like what you do. This will ensure your dedication, concentrated effort and inner harmony. You will be able to work in synergy of your whole being, and this in turn, will make you contended, happy and enable you to discover your latent talents.
Love all. Many of the successful people are lonely because they do not nurture loving relationships. Love your family and respect fellowbeings. You cannot make everyone happy. But you certainly can love and make your dear ones happy and thus ensure your own happiness.
Humility. Let success not go into your head. Remain unaffected by the rewards of success. Remain humane and successful at the same time. It enables you to be open to all suggestions to learn new things and to be thoughtful and careful in your relationships.
Simplicity. Concentrate as to how to achieve things in a simple way. Understand what is essential in any given situation and get the thing done in the simplest way possible without pomp and show. You can thus conserve your energies, avoid unnecessary exertion and expenses. Lead a humble life and reduce your expenses. Have clear cut thoughts, a comprehensive view of life and the whole universe. Follow simple eating and exercise habits without lot of paraphernalia or pomp and show.
Generosity. You have received abundance from the universe. Hence, you have the moral right to share your riches with others and be happy. Let your riches---let it be money, knowledge or anything—flow to those who deserve them and the universe will reward you hundredfold. Keep up the circulation.
Curiosity. It makes one learn continuously. Man thus becomes inventive and experimental. Keep it to the last moment. Life will then never be boring.
Initiative. Success is a product of intelligent self-effort. Rarely does an extraneous factor play a significant role. Successful people seek help from others but in the heart of their hearts they know that they have to rely on themselves.
