He is a patriarch Man lived in ancient days, and who made the ark/boat in order to save his family and specimens of every
animal from the flood sent by God to destroy the world. This man was called Noah. During Noah’s days,
people did not care about God, or the way he wanted them to live No one listened to him any more, so God began to be sorry he had ever made human beings. There was only one thing to do. He must make a fresh start with new people. Sadly, he decided to destroy every living creature on the earth.
He decided to send a great flood. The intended floods were going to come from the rain. Before floods, God was already planned to make a rainfall which was to last for forty days frequently. But there was one good man who lived and went on God‘s ways. His name was Noah. God talked to Noah about the flood, and explained his plan. He wanted to save Noah and his family. God told Noah to build a great ark/
boat which was enough for Noah and his wife, there three sons, ham, Shem and Japheth with their wives, and two of every king of animal and birds. And there had to be room to store food to feed them all for a very long time.
Noah listened carefully, and did exactly as God said. This man, Noah was a real friend of God that God hinted him his secret on destruction of the ancient world. So Noah was only the one who exactly knew what was going to happen in the ancient world. Also his family trusted him on whatever he told them a bout his God’s plan. So his family joined him too and supported him in a accomplishing the construction of the ark/boat.
People came to watch him work on the ark/boat; really it was a big work. Every day when they asked him what he was doing he told them what God had said about the flood. But they took no notice. They thought Noah was crazy. He must be fancy building a boat on a dry land, miles from a river or sea!.
People were asking many questions to themselves without answers satisfying them and these was because people in that time have ever seen anybody making such a big ark/boat on a place where there is no even a symbol of availability of any kind of water which could make such big ark/boat to float.
But all their questions were nonsense to Mr. Noah and he did not let them stop him. He went on with his work and at last the ark/boat was finished. Therefore, there the rain came that day, Noah and his family and all the birds and animals went into the boat, as God had said and God shut the door tight behind them. The rain came down in torrents. And it kept on raining, day after day.
Soon all the rivers overflowed and the water spread over the ground. It reached the boat. It swirled around, growing deeper and deeper. Then it lifted the boat, and Noah and all his family were float. Still the rain came and the water rose and rose until everything was covered. No one, nothing survived. Not even the tops of the mountain could be seen. Noah and his family, and the animals with them in the boat, were the only ones left alive.
