ahead during the time others waste. Most time is wasted in seconds and
minutes and not in hours or days. Think that you have 24x60 dollars (actually minutes) deposited in your name in the bank. Unless you spend it the whole of it will go waste. So find a useful way. May be you can invest in stock or deposit it to gain interest. Likewise spend you time the best way. Otherwise, you are wasting your life. Let us plan our time. Take care of the minutes. Hours will take care of themselves. Try to file and organize everything. Throw away unwanted things. 5% of our time goes looking for lost things.
If you (an Indian) take life as having 72 years, 24 years go for sleeping. 14 years you work. 4 years go for personal hygiene. 4 years you eat, 5 years you watch TV, 4 years you learn, 3 years you read papers, 1
year you return calls, 1 year you search for lost things, 5 years you idle, 1 year you pray and 2 years go for other activities. If you are conscientious, a number of these years can be fruitfully used.
Time
management is actually self management. Try to avoid idling. Learn something that help in your job. Acquire a new skill. Liisten to tapes while driving and so on.
Plan ahead. Delegate responsibilities. You cannot do everything by yourself. If you, lose temper, you will end up losing energy which could be utilized otherwise. .

tasks. Prioritize. The last thing one knows is what is to be done first. Do not postpone. Practice doing what is to be done here and now, now itself.
Evaluate the tasks and eliminate the unnecessary. You may be spending a lot of your time reading the unnecessary like magazines and books which will not help you in your career. Start every day with a list of priorities. Most of us do earmark the most difficult tasks for later, and do the easiest first. By the rime we finish the easier ones, there will be no energy left for the really difficult ones. Do the tasks by the order of priorities
