At the tender adolescent age
students started killing classmates out of rage!Hands twined on shoulders on those days years before, anger among us never lasted more than a day , leaving home hugging after the class hours.Innocense was the name we called for adolescent age.
Carrying guns by a high school student cannot be taken as a silly affair as it points to something towards a sick society, a sick culture.A serious tragedy in the offing. Their minds and thoughts are off the track.They donot know what they do.
After a small quarrel if a student takes pistol hidden in his sox and shoots his classmate things almost gone out of hands.Who has created such a abnormal child? Who is really responsible for the ghastly crime, the killer and the killed?
Sick society creates sick governments too.Is it not absurd to expect a clean administration out of an abnormal mentally derailed individuals?Even the greatest democracy on earth cannot produce that. Because you are the nation , you are the government, you cannot show magic by manufacturing genius out of a pool of fools!
Who can save these children? Parents , teachers, psychiatrists, law imposers or judiciary? Well, moral values can never be imposed. It must come from with in .Delicate friendly chord can never be created artificially. No police or judiciary in the world has ever succeeded in that. Only more and more chaos and confusions created afresh. Counselors and psychiatrists can set right a “mind bend”, hypnotise and dig out filth and clean the subconscious mind, but can they fill it with love ?WHO CAN DO THAT?
Mother: Did you watch infants breastfed by mothers? They stare and fix their eyes on mother’s face.By regular watching and feeling tender caressing and touch of mother the infant slowly understands that he is safe in mother’s hands.As time passes the face of his mother is carved in his brain system and able to differentiate from other strange faces! Whenever he felt uncomfortable he bends his lips and show signs that “ I wanted my mother immediately”.When the mother’s face appears before him he smiles feels secure,safe and consoled.
He starts learning from mother the good bad and the ugly. Slowly the mother introduces a gentleman to the child. “Hell this is your father/dad/pappa. Since has immense confidence on his mother he greets his father ‘Glad to meet you PAPPA”. The greatest wonder is that mother needs no linguistic support to conduct all these episodes.That is nature’s magic! A mild smile emanating from the mother’s lips slowly pass on to the child making him produce a similar cute one in him.
In the child upbringing a mother can instill good qualities and habits.When slowly as the brain develops father also joins the fray .Do this, do that, this is not good, this is dangerous etc etc..Can guide, can teach how to love and to be loved. And as the age progress child develops doubts wants to clear the same .What Iam trying tell is that you can make a child a normal individual, a psychotis, or a dropout as you desire
After five years with all colourful hopes parents send children to schools. Slowly and steadily new knowledge in linguistic forms are fed .The right and the wrong are explained, Dos and don’ts are taught. By whom?.The teacher!!!!!!!!!
The teacher:Now the teacher appears before him. In the first appearance the child refuses to recognize the teacher .Somebody different from his dear mother and father. Bur the teacher conquers the mind of the child
And overpowers him with love affection and knowledge. Helps him to clear doubts, to tackle tough situations, to solve difficult assignments and starts building the gap and wins confidence of the child.
At ths juncture the student feels all others are wrong except his teacher.Even his beloved mother! This is the most appropriate time a teacher can mould the character or even spoil a child .He can do both, its his choice now! If a good teacher can interact strongly unimaginable things can be achieved. Teacher has an immense potential. He can detonate a powerful bomb in the society and at the same time melt the mammoth mountain of hatred with a loving glance or a soft tender touch. He can argue in whisper! He can promote competitive spirit and teach to tolerate defeat and failure! AND WHAT NOT?
He can heal sick minds guide to golden paths .We are fortunate to have excellent teaching professionals in our country who can successfully distill our sick student community to pure constructive individuals, who can produce clean efficient governments which jn turn can check such unhealthy unpardonable crimes in future. Good mothers and fathers can also join to fight a war.
