Famous Super Star of Sub-Continent Shahrukh Khan has now joined the ranks of Hollywood super stars like George Clooney, Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and Bruce Willis as he has been honored by French Government with the distinction of “Officer dan l Ordre des Arts et des Lettres” (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters). The distinction is conferred on persons who have distinguished themselves by their creativity in the field of arts, culture and literature or for their contribution to the influence of the arts in France and throughout the world. Shahrukh Khan received this honor in a special ceremony on January 27, 2008 in Mumbai on the occasion of the opening of the high profile French film festival. Shahrukh Khan’s statue is also mounted in London’s historical Madam Tisao Museum alongside other famous Indian personalities. The personality impression of Shahrukh is kind, merciful, humble and soft. In his daily life, he is equally popular in his working colleagues. His film career is full of successes and whenever he appears on the screen he always something delivers to his fans and viewers. He has proved himself a trend setter.
