Tel 068964465[BR] Zohour center is a private school founded exclusively for Moroccans facing the problem of speech and hearing impairement. It was established at the heart of Hay Najah in Agadir, Morocco during the academic year 2001-2002. Pupils aged between 4 and 6 of age flow into it by a special private car from rural and urban Inzegane and Agadir communities. Zohour Center was orinally a house. Since 2001, it has been transformed into a school whose rent and provision relating to its deaf-mute dwellers are relegated to a benevolent Agadiri Man. It is made up of 7 classrooms in addition to one that management has reserved for computing. Three classrooms among the afore mentioned seven at ZhourCentre have been set up for the sake of pupils enroling in elementary education whose overall number amounts to 38, twenty five among whom are school boys and thirteen are school girls facing the problem of speech and hearing impairement. Four classrooms among the afore mentioned ones are designed for primary education. The first and two levels encompass 37 pupils, twenty four among whom are schoolboys and seventeen are school girls. The overall number of enrolling students at Zohour Center amounts to 75, fifty three of which are schoolboys and twenty six are schoolgirls. [BR]Zohour Centre depends on national curricula issued by the Moroccan ministry of education depending on the issuance of ministerial memoranda dealing with its contents . Zohour Center observes and adapts to change settled on it. [BR]Zohour Center is made up of 12 educators. It opens according the permanent timing system, that is, from 9.
00 AM to 4.30 PM.[BR]Zohour Centre operates according to a part internship system since it provides lunch for the pupils enroling at it. [BR]Zohour Centre makes local journeys and exploratory excursions inside and outside Agadir Region for the sake of the pupils enroling at it.[BR]Zohour Center forms educators. It also forms the teachers that make a profession in integrated classrooms ( involving students with and without a speech impairement) in the province of Agadir. The training of such teachers involves subjects related to hearing impairement through a partnership with the French region Lego.[BR]The association at Zohour Centre teaches boys and girls above 15 dressmaking skills through a parnership with the Office of vocational training and labour welfare at Tassila, Agadir, Morocco. The number of trainees amounts to about 37. Meanwhile, girls take up training in vocational training relating to hairdressing and in cosmetology at Women-Club situated at Hay Sinai "he industrial district" in Agadir, Morocco, with which The delegation of youth and physical training has entered into a partnershipand which has received assistance and encouragement from Hala Bill institution for hairdressing and cosmetology.[BR]Zohour center has currently launched adult education for combating ignorance and for teaching sign language to the parents of pupils at Zohour center in Agadir, Morocco[BR]foukara_amina@yahoo.fr
