There are many parents who want their wards to be the first in the class. They are not bothered whether

child has the ability or not.
High IQ and good family
environment will make one score more in an examination. But if the IQ is low and if one’s home is insecure and poor the reverse will be the result.
The child has not a big role to play here.

Early home environment and the economic status at birth, and the nature of the society on is born into will shape his EQ.
People generally agree that EQ is necessary to succeed in life. The development of even this is not within the powers of the child.
