There should be adequate importance to the very
existence of the woman. Her happiness and sorrow should not only be dependent
on the expression of her husband’s mood alone. Her life and moods should have a certain amount of value. When she builds up independence she may
control her own self and things might improve.
Older women just want to prolong their marriage and they do not want to break up. There are many who do not believe in equal marital relationships! This is pathetic indeed.
Women should not sit quiet. They have only one life. They should take control their lives. There is no point in living as a slave to anyone and prolonging one’s
existence. Now it is not difficult to get a job anywhere and if there is constant abuse-either mental or physical- she should part from such a relationship and take control of her life. There are so many who have already demonstrated their courage to come out of the mental harassment and live their lives. There are many who have decided to get back their self respect.
