Taoism -1

Tao-it means road, way or path. To the Chinese the harmony and the order perceived in the universe were manifestations of the Tao. It is a sort of divine will or legislation existing in regulating the universe. It is belief in a providence which regulate everything according a certain order and harmony.

The concept of Tao when applied to the humans, there is natural way to anything and everything. Everyone and everything has its proper place and its proper function. If the ruler performed his duty well by dealing justly with the people and did all the rituals pertaining to heaven, there would be peace and prosperity in the nation. Similarly, if the people did their duty everything would be harmonious.  Go with Tao and do not intercept its flow.

Taoism in its mystical approach and in its original form, advocates inaction, quietness, and passivity shunning society and returning to nature. Everything will be alright if people sit quiet, do nothing and let nature take its course.
