First, an individual should not forget to secure a Residence Tax Certificate or Sedula. This is taken from the Municipal Registrar's Office. The payment for this varries depending on the salary of the individual securing it.
After securing a Sedula, make sure that you have a photocopy of it.
The Barangay Clearance is a certification that states the well-being of an individual. It is secured from the office of the Barangay Captain. Its payment varies depending on the purpose of the clearance. Just make sure that the purpose typed on the clearance is stated accurately. The requirements for this are a copy of the individuals CTC or Sedula, and the payment.
The Police Clearance can be taken from the Municipality's Police Precint. The requirements for this are the individuals CTC (1 photocopy and 1 original), Payment Receipt for the Police Clearance from the Office of the Municipality's Registrar, and a valid ID.
On the other hand, an NBI Clearance is issued by the National Burea of Investigation. The requirement for this is a valid ID for verification purposes. Make sure that the purpose of Clearance is stated properly. It is also advised that an individual going to the NBI Office must not wear slippers and shorts. It is strictly forbidden.
