Further evolution of man
Having evolved as we saw in the onset of man, where is he heading to? Where will we end up? Will a new species be evolved? Will Homo sapiens as a species be preserved? There are changes taking place everyday everywhere where man lives. The size of man’s brain has increased tremendously. From a mere 700cc it has shot up to 1400cc. Doubled in a million years or so. Now at the present rate it may double again say in another half a million years. It will require a huge skull to house the increased bran. The size of the head will be twice that of the present. But the limbs of man like the hands and feet will be shrinking as machines will do most of the work they were supposed to do. Food intake will be less with the decreased energy requirement and the size of the digestives organs will come down too. With a lesser size (of course except that of the head) a smaller lungs and heart would be required.
The physique will be disproportionate with a huge head and diminutive limbs and torso. The super brain will be able to do super works which man cannot think of now. Just like consciousness is a miracle, may be the brain would be able to use its energy for man’s locomotion and travel. There may not be the requirement of fuel of any type. He may be able to speed up much faster than what he able to do now.
An altogether different species is on the way.
