Typhoon Ondoy or internationally known as Ketsana is the most destructive storm that hit Philippine country last weekend. Many people died due to the flood that destroyed some areas of Metro Manila. More than a hundred died and missing while others remained in relief operation centers with their families. Some lost their children and others lost all their belongings due to typhoon Ondoy. The heavy rains unceasingly poured over the area last weekend which made the water level rise and people were forced to stay in the rooftop of their houses. In a state of calamity, people living in affected areas in Metro Manila need the help of everyone.
With this call of support, many individuals answered to help for the relief operations in the area. Many government officials, non-governmental organizations, local stars, and ordinary individuals gave their time, efforts, and resources to aid the victims of typhoon Ketsana. The relief goods as donated by thousands of people became most valuable for the victims. As of this time, victims of the worst typhoon are still asking for help just to replenish their needs for clothing, food, and even shelter.
