Gajah Borneo is the origin Borneo elephant and doesn’t need to connect story of Gajah Borneo (Elephant Borneo) to the Gajah Java (Elephant Java). Has there only Java island to have the elephant? Telling some thing about the name of Gajah Mada, according to the indigenous people of Dayak in Kalbar (West Kalimantan), need to know that Gajah Mada is not Javanese, he is the origin Dayak who came from Kalimantan Barat. He’s origin village is in Toba district (Tobag), regency of Sanggau Kalimantan Barat (nowaday). Some peoples the indigenous of Dayak believe that Gajah Mada is origin Dayak, the matter is connected to the legend story of Dayak Tobag people, Kanayatn, Mali, Simpang and Dayak Krio who states Gajah Mada is origin Dayak. For Dayak Krio in Menyumbung-Ketapang said that Gajah Mada name is not Gajah Mada, but Jaga Mada. It is true story by the people of Dayak Krio-Menyumbung, but the other Dayak above said that Gajah Mada is Gajah Mada .
The name of Gajah Mada is the old name which is known in Indonesia. According to Dayak peoples in Kalimantan Barat, he is a Demung (the other side name for leadership of village). According to the people of Dayak, that is possible the kings in Borneo or King of Kutai gave him a power to mastering nusantara archipelago. He came from a village in Kecamatan Toba (nowaday). It is proved by the ritual ceremony of processing to clean the things (his sites) of Gajah Mada in every year in Tobag. Gajah Mada has lost thousand years ago from his village and never come back to Kalimantan Barat, his land.
The story legend states him the origin Dayak and comes from Kalimantan Barat. He was a Demung who stayed under of the kings government instruction in Kalimantan. He was a Demung from 10 villages who stayed in that area. After he has gone, automatically the villages was less one Demung from 10 villages, so the Demung just 9 persons only to cover 10 villages.
This story legend is still living around of Dayak peoples mainly in the origin village of Gajah Mada’s. This sites are to strong and can be proved because the old kingdoms in Indonesia is gotten in Kalimantan “Kutai”. Kutai is the origin kingdom of Hindu-Dayak, but now is told “Kutai Kertanegara”. Kertanegara is a person from Java who attacted Kutai and changed the name of “Kutai” to be “Kutai Kertanegara”.
It proves that the influence of Hindu in Java is influenced by Hindu in Kutai Kalimantan and it’s possible that Gajah Mada is a Goliath from Kalimantan who is asked by the King of Kutai to expand their influences in Java
In the story legend of Patih Gumantar Dayak Kanayatn (Dayak Ahe-selako) Kalimantan Barat tells that Patih Gajah Mada is a brother of Patih Gumantar.They are 7 brothers. It is caused of the story legend of Dayak where tells the word of “Gajah” it self come from the old story legend. It proves that “Gajah” ever live and stay in Kalimantan and nowadays has been lost caused of hunting and death by them selves when to cross the big rivers.

One again about the name of Patih Gajah Mada, the name of Patih it selft just comes from the kingdoms of Kalimantan especially Kalimantan Barat. Just one the name of Patih in Java is Patih Gajah Mada it self, no other Patih in Java exception Patih Gajah Mada, but in Kalimantan Barat you can find some others patih such as Patih Gumantar, Patih Singaria and else.
