critique on the critique of the
concept culture. The criticism on the concept, Brightman claims, has constructed an imaginary solidify concept - culture, which opposes whatever the writers are trying to advocate, and thus is criticize. All the “
new” aspects – like practice, process or conflict and contradictions were part of the concept culture before, in its
different variants. The concept culture has always had multiple definitions and can not be reduced to one. He calls this attack on culture a – “lexical
avoidance behavior”
